Engaging Minds - Creating Community - Writing with Impact

Write from the Heart is offering dynamic, flexible courses built to satisfy ½ credit/semester requirement. Each module focuses on building mastery of a specific topic area in English language and literature. Students develop their skills across three units lasting one month each. Module units may be taken in succession or spaced out over the semester or school year. With asynchronous support from trained coaches, students exercise their creativity while building time management and enjoying a flexible learning environment.

Each module focuses on a specific aspect of English language and literature as well as application in everyday life. Modules include self-paced quizzes and short writing exercises with a primary assignment due each Friday. Students receive asynchronous feedback from a composition coach who is available to help with questions throughout the module. Each unit is graded separately and averaged to result in a semester grade. Units start the first Monday of every month.
