Plan a Novel

The structured planning you need before you write a single chapter. Character development, plot mapping, world-building, and coach feedback on every planning document.

Make a plan for success with your novel before you write a single chapter.

Plan a Novel takes students through the essential planning stage that separates a finished novel from an abandoned one. Using structured planning tools and guided exercises, students develop their characters, map their plot, build their world, and walk away with a complete roadmap for their novel.

Students receive coach feedback on their planning documents throughout the workshop, with specific guidance on strengthening plot structure, developing compelling characters, and identifying potential problems before they start drafting.
